- Do you take individual bookings for one tent?
- No. De Stilte is set up for groups, weddings, celebrations, retreats and gatherings that take the farm together. Enquire with your group size and we'll shape the weekend around it.
- How many guests can the farm host?
- Capacity depends on how your group is made up and which camps are used. Send us your numbers through the planner and we'll confirm what the farm can carry for your dates.
- Is the whole farm exclusively ours?
- Exclusive-use weekends are the way most events run here. Confirm the arrangement for your dates when you enquire.
- What does it cost?
- Pricing is quoted per event because every weekend is put together differently. Send your plan through and we'll come back with a written quote.
- Can we bring our own caterers and suppliers?
- Catering, bar and styling are arranged per event. Tell us who you'd like to work with in your enquiry and we'll talk it through.
- What happens if it rains?
- The Oak Shed is covered and doubles as a wet-weather ceremony and dining space, so the weekend carries on either way.
- How far is the farm from Cape Town?
- De Stilte sits in the Tulbagh valley in the Cape Winelands, comfortably reachable for a weekend from Cape Town. Detailed directions are sent with your booking pack.
- Can we visit before we commit?
- Yes, site visits are encouraged. Mention it in your enquiry and we'll arrange a time to walk the farm with you.
